A Time to Grieve

Victory have sometimes a bitter taste. The heroes are assembled to pay homage to their friend Elaida, killed during the final battle with the Greater Boneheart. They also know that this is probably their last time together because shortly after, all will go in different directions and places. Taking courage from the hand of her friend Han Bower, Laurhyllee the Elf wizard have flowered the grave with blue blossoms, a color Elaida was fond of. Impassive, Faerynn the Elf warrior is facing his loss and remorse. He was Elaida's lover but has not been able to show her that he truly cared about her and their daughter Anariel, kneeling and crying, comforted by Alysin, Zhenyr and Suzel's daughter. The couple is surrounded by their adopted children, most of them victims of the war.
The scene is taking place at Zhenyr's ranch about 30 miles north of Highfolk City, near the Vesve forest.
